January book club

Heaven is Here- Natalie's pick

This book was written by a lady from Utah who was in an airplane accident that burned most of her body. She became popular from her blog (that's how I want to become popular). I used to read her blog but I didn't like reading it because she was always complaining about something. (Plus it seemed like her life was a little too perfect.) After reading her book though I can understand that she has a reason to complain. Every day is a struggle for her and she is constantly in pain, if that were me I would be complaining too. This was a really good book and made me realize I need to not be so critical and know that everyone has trials that they are dealing with. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good read.

My fun Christmas gift

David gave me the greatest gift for Christmas, a jewelry armoire. Before I had it in four different places cause I couldn't fit it all in my old jewelry box. Now I can get all my jewelry to fit in one place it's so nice. It's much better because it's all on display and I can see everything I have. When i was filling it up I found all this stuff I had forgotten about I'm so excited to wear it all. I love accessories jewelry, shoes, purses you name it, so this was a perfect gift for me. Thanks Babe.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

This is mine and David's 3rd Christmas together, and they just keep getting better and better. I love this time of year we get to see our families, we get to give gifts to the ones we love, everyone is so much happier, the music, the lights, the decorations. (I could go on and on about the things I love about Christmas). Christmas day is usually a hectic but fun day. We start out by going to the traditional Bona family Christmas Eve party, then on Christmas day we go to South Jordan to visit my mom, then to my sister's to see my dad and our nieces and nephew, then to Layton to see the Taggart's, then we usually go to David's grandma's house in Ogden. A fun tradition David and I have started is collecting ornaments we get a new one each year I really like this little tradition of ours.

Here are some of the ornaments we've collected over the past 3 years.

I forgot to take the picture of these while they were still on the tree

Such a good day

My "little Willis" Madison got baptised last month I can't believe she's already 8 it seems like just yesterday she was a little baby. David and I are so proud of her she is such a cute, loving, sweet, caring girl. We love her so much. That same day my cute little Niece Ainsley was blessed she is so adorable. Even though she is so little she is already her own little person and so different than her brother and sister. I have the cutest little nieces in the world (this includes our little niece Laurie). We love them all so much.

David was so glad when Madie asked him to baptise her
