1 year already?!

David & I celebrated our 1 year anniversary on the 13th. We went for a nice breakfast on the 12th to the Little America Steakhouse it was delicious. We went there last year the day after we got married before we left for our honeymoon, so it was nice to be able to go back. And then on Sunday I made a nice pot roast dinner for us it was very good but I must admit the Little America trumped my dinner. It's hard to believe that it's already been a year I feel like I just got married. A lot has happened in that year we both have different jobs, different callings in church, I'm becoming a much better cook, I'm not a virgin anymore...haha that's probably TMI I'll stop there. It's  been wonderful  to be married I'm so much happier than I was before. David has been so good for me he makes me laugh all the time and I'm constantly smiling when he is around. I hope we get the chance to have 50 no make that 100 more anniversaries.

The 2 of us now

Should I be worried?

David & I have been eating these pretzels for about a week now. Should we be worried that they expired 100 years ago? :)

So proud of my hubby!

On April 29th David was ordained a High Priest & he is now the 2nd Counselor in the Bishopric. He had a lot of support from both of our families that day. David's parents and siblings came my parents, grandparents, my sister's family and my aunt came to our sacrament meeting and then stayed to see him be set apart. I am so grateful for our families support. Everyone keeps saying that he is going to be very busy, but he's been the Executive Secretary for the past 3 months so I don't think it could be to much busier than that...at least I hope not. David is a little nervous about it but I think he will do a wonderful job. I love you David and I am so proud of you, you are such a good example for me and I'm so glad to have you in my life.

2012 MS Walk

On April 28th I participated in the MS walk. Why you might ask, because my dear sweet Aunt Janet (who is such a wonderful person and I love her to death) has had MS now for 10 years. My cousin Mandy put together "Team Nana" in honor of my Aunt. There were so many people there that day and not just in our group but over all there were tons of people who walked. It was a very good experience for me and I hope to do it again next year.
