New Moon...

So for all of you die-hard Twilight fans out there. You will know that I made a little mix up at the end of my Twilight blog in saying that I was excited to tread Eclipse. When really the second book in the series is New Moon oops. My bad.

I just finished reading New Moon and I must say that I absolutely loved it. It was so good and I enjoyed reading it. I liked it even better then Twilight. And I also need to say that I am a big Jacob fan, sorry to all you Edward lovers out there. What can I say I guess I'm just more into werewolves than vampires. Thanks Jess for letting me borrow your book. Now I can't wait to start reading Eclipse. Thanks everyone for talking me into reading this series.

TTA

This week for the Tuesday tell all it's about your memories from school.

I always was so excited to go to school on the first day to see all my friends. And see who was in my class. I was always excited to meet my teachers as well.

I would have to say that my two favorite teachers in Elementary were my Kindergarten Teacher Mrs. Peterson and my 2ND grade teacher Mrs. Belliston. In Jr. High my favorite teacher was Mrs. Yates for Geography she was awesome! And in High school I really liked Mr. Wilson my English teacher. And I loved Mrs. Chamberlain for Sophomore Cheer. In college I really liked all of my teachers they were all so great I can't really just pick one. My favorite class though in College was phlebotomy.

My favorite subject was always English I loved it. I hated math I couldn't ever understand it. So I was always going to my dad to have him help me. And Science was never really my favorite either, but lucky for me my mom is a Science teacher. I always had great Science fair projects even though I didn't really do much of the work on them.

I went to Lake Ridge Elementary we were The Cougars. And to South Jordan Middle The Snow Leopards. And then to Cyprus High School The Pirates. I then went to Eagle Gate College from there.

Twilight

So it's official I've joined the whole "Twilight Bandwagon".

I finally read the first book and I loved it. Everyone had been telling me over the past few months to read it but I wasn't interested in the books at all. I thought to myself what vampires and werewolves no thanks I'm not interested. But then a few people I talked to told me that it wasn't all about vampires and it was almost a love story. But I still refused not understanding what all the hype and buzz was for these books.

So last week I was talking to a few of the girls that I work with and one of them (who loves the books), couldn't believe that I hadn't read any of them. And that I wasn't even interested. She told me that I should at least read the first one and if I didn't like it fine but at least give it a chance. So I said ok and the next day she brought the book to me.

Last Thursday I decided to start reading it. And looking at this huge 400+ page book I thought its going to take me at least a year to finish this book. So I started reading and wow its just such an easy book to read. When I reading it I just got so into it and didn't even notice how long I'd been reading and I didn't want to set the book down.

But yes I really did enjoy it a lot and it was much better than I thought it was going to be. I still can't believe it took me less than a week to finish it and that I actually remember what I read. If only the books I had to read in my English classes back in High School could have been so easy to read. Well now I just can't wait to start reading Eclipse.

TTA...

So for the Tuesday Tell All this week it's about your favorite summer blockbuster.

Mine has got to be by far The Dark Knight. I loved that movie and thought it was so well done and just overall a very enjoyable movie. I grew up watching all the previous Batman movies with my dad so I've been a Batman fan for as long as I can remember. And I just never thought there could be an actor that compared to Michael Keaton but I would have to say that Christian Bell does a wonderful job portraying Batman. I also thought for a few years that actors they chose to play batman were a little off the mark but now it feels like the good old days again. I also loved Heath Ledgers performance as the joker and thought he did a wonderful job. At parts it was hard to watch and picture that it was actually him. Because he did do such a good job with the character that he made you believe that, that was who he actually was and that he wasn't just acting.

Well there is my little review for The Dark Knight I loved it and for those of you who haven't seen it yet. Well what are you waiting for go to a movie theater get some popcorn and enjoy the movie because its a good one.

Denephew is here...

So my little nephew Stockton is finally here!!! He was born tonight at 8:40. Too bad it couldn't have been tomorrow 080808 that would've been awesome. He weighs 9 lbs 3 oz. And he is 21 inches long. And he is the cutest little guy I've ever seen. Maddie is the proudest big sister ever and just loves her little baby so much. I'm sure Natalie will have a great little helper with her (I think she might be a little too helpful though). Everyone is doing really good even though Chris got a little woozy in the operating room. They will be leaving on Monday sometime. But I'll keep you all posted on everything.

Olympic Spirit

So since the Olympics start on 080808 I thought I would dedicate a blog for it. Well actually the Tuesday Tell All gave me the idea but oh well.

I'm a big Olympic fan I love watching all the events. My favorites are, gymnastics, swimming and diving.

This year though I'm really looking forward to watching basketball since Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams will be playing. Just like the good old days were Stockton and Malone were on the Dream Team.

I think one reason I like the Olympics so much is just rooting for your country. And seeing them win gold and hearing the National Anthem and seeing the Flag its awesome. And I also really like the competitive factor of it all. It's all just so fun and I can't wait for it to start.
