Let freedom ring

Like I've said before The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. We had so many fun traditions that we did when I was growing up. And new traditions that David and I are starting as well.
A few night before the 4th we went with my mom and her husband to see the Taylorsville fireworks. It was a lot of fun. And then on the 4th we went to the Magna parade. Madie's dance studio was in the parade so she got to be in the parade this year. Stockton loved getting all the candy that they would throw to the crowd, and he got a lot of candy. Little Ainsley looked so cute in her little 4th of July outfit. But she didn't like the big cars that would go by and honk their horns, poor little girl. After the parade we hung out with my dad, my sister and her kids for a little while. David wasn't feeling very good though so we went home pretty early and went right to bed so we didn't go to fireworks that night. I did see some out of our front window but it wasn't quite the same. We'll just wait for next year.

Madie waved right as I took the picture.

Just keep swimming

We had my mom, my sister, my nieces and nephew over to go swimming a few weeks ago. It was so much fun and the kids loved it. David got home right as we were headed down to the pool so he came with us, but didn't go swimming. He was throwing things in the pool for Madison to find she loved it and was doing a great job to get them. Stockton was being silly and didn't want to let go of the side of the pool, he had a really good time though. And little Ainsley was so cute in her swimsuit she even had little sun glasses. We will definitely need to have them over again to go swimming.

We taught Madie how to play hands up stands up. She really liked it.
Little Ainsley had way too much fun and got all tuckered out.

I hate goodbyes

David and I are going to be saying goodbye to some of our Taggart family. David's brother Gabel and his wife Breezy moved to Phoenix for work and school, they are going to be there for the next few years. I must admit I'm not too envious of them, just about a week ago my sister in-law said it was going to be 120 degrees, WOW that is way too hot for my liking. When we go visit them we will make sure to go in the winter.
David's little sister McKenzie is going on a mission to Washington DC. I am envious of her, I have always wanted to go to DC I think that would be a great place to serve with all the museums and historical monuments that she will be able to see.
I'm sure it will be a great experience for all of them but they will be missed. We love you guys!

Greatest Dad EVER!!!

With it being Father's Day on Sunday I thought I would do a post about my dad. He is the nicest, sweetest guy I know. I look up to him so much he has the biggest heart and an even bigger testimony. He is also very talented and artistic. I know I don't tell him enough but I am so grateful to have him in my life.

I love you Faja!!!

Cute little kids

I know I've said it before but it's true. I have the cutest nieces and nephews EVER!

We were able to go to my nephew Stockton's baseball game a few weeks ago. It was the funniest thing I've seen. Anytime someone would hit the ball all the boys would run to grab it. Stockton did so good and looked so big out there. It was a lot of fun.
Then we went to Madison's dance recital, we weren't able to make it to Laurie's and I was really bummed. I love dance recitals, they really make me miss dancing. Back to Madison though she did such a good job. She is turning out to be such a good little dancer.

Little Ainsley is such a sweetheart
