Another year older...
I celebrated my birthday at the beginning of the month. Its hard to believe that I am 27 years old (it sounds so old but I don't feel like I am that old, I guess that's a good thing). David and I went out to eat, I went to lunch with my dad, my mom had us over to her house, we went to dinner with my Grandma, and we went to David's parents house for dinner. So basically we have had lots of family time this month. Also on my birthday I went to lunch with Natalie, Madison, my Aunt Corrinne and my cousin Krystal. Then after lunch we went to The Conference Center and saw The BYU Young Ambassador's they put on a really good show. Madison was able to go on stage and dance with them for one of the songs it was really cute. I had a really good birthday. And I can't wait for this next year it should be tons of fun!
February Book Club
Letters in the Jade Dragon Box- Grandma Sharon's Pick
I absolutely loved this book. It grabbed me right from the start. It's about a girl who was sent to live with her Uncle in Hong Kong when she was 5. Years later she gets a box of letters from her mom that her and her Uncle read together. It was such an interesting story and very easy to get into. If you are looking for a good read I would highly recommend this book. I'm super excited to talk about this book and to start reading next months book.

January Book Club
13 Reasons Why- Taylor's pick
I only read the first 2 chapters of this book, but what I read was pretty interesting. I read a synopsis of the book on Wikipedia and Natalie gave me a run down of the book as well when we were on our way to Book Club. I must admit after hearing what the book is about I don't really think I want to read it. Sorry Taylor its just not my cup of tea.

Christmas Jars- Aunt Janet's pick
I loved this book! It was such a great feel good book. It does have its sad parts though...of course. Its one that I will want to read at Christmas every year. Great pick Aunt Janet!

November Book Club
Crossed- Heather's Pick
So I'm a little late in doing this post but oh well better late than never. Crossed is the 2nd book of the Matched series which we read a few months ago. I have to be honest I didn't love this book it was really slow moving and just not a very good story. Other than that I really don't have much to say about the book. I'm hoping that if a 3rd book comes out it will be better.
