Witch Festival

We went this past week with David's sister and her kids to Gardner Village for the Witches Festival. It's so fun to go each year and see how they've decorated everything for Halloween. The kids seemed to really enjoy it, especially after when we went to Arctic Circle and let them play (they probably liked that more to be honest). I'm super bummed though, because a bunch of my cousins are getting together and are going to witches night out, but I have to work that night so I won't be able to join in on the fun. Oh well hopefully they go again next year and I can go with them then. As always I took pictures of our little outing, enjoy.

August and September Book Club

August, Edenbrook- Sydney's pick
September, The Shapeshifter's Secret- Mandy's pick

I wasn't able to read the books for book club these last two months. August was a pretty crazy month for me and September a little bit too. I still wanted to put them on my blog though because I want to go back and read both of them. Everyone in book club said how much they loved Edenbrook, so I definetly need to check that out from the library. I'm going to be better the next few months and read the books.

Brigham City Temple

I was able to go with David's family a few weeks ago to the Brigham City Temple open house. It was such a beautiful temple. The temple had a peach theme throughout which I really liked. My niece and nephews came too and behaved so well, I was really impressed with them. I love going to temples they are so gorgeous and the spirit that you can feel when you are there is so strong. This last Sunday was the dedication. I loved hearing President Packer he is such a great man, and has such a strong testimony. David and I have a goal to participate in an endowment session at all the temples in Utah. Which we understand will take a while considering there are so many temples in Utah. Hopefully it won't take too long for us to complete this little goal of ours.

Makes me happy

The other day David and I decided to go out to dinner. I said I would be like five minutes, I just needed to get some makeup on. He said, "What!? You look gorgeous; you know you don't need to wear makeup all the time." This seriously made my day week. I love him so much!
