New Years Day

It been a tradition now since well forever that on New Years Day the Bona Family gets together for lunch. Since there are so many of us we reserve a church and anyone that has gone on missions brings a food from where they went. For instance my Dad went to Mexico so he always takes enchiladas. And my uncle Dean went to Italy so he brings a pasta dish. And my uncle Brad went to Tennessee I think, so he brings hush puppies. And so on and so on. Its so much fun I love this tradition. I love getting together with the whole family my grandparents all the aunts and uncles and cousins so much fun.

After we are all done eating we all play games or basketball or something fun. Recently the past few years we have been doing a white elephant exchange. This is always tons of fun to see what kinds of gifts people think of and bring.
